We received an e-mail from a customer in London. The customer was telling us of a problem they had with their power.
They would plug their charger into the machine but the machine would not charge but still came on. There are three different problems that can occur with the power, the charger may not be giving enough voltage out to power or charge the machine fully, the battery may have died after it being used for so long or the power socket may have a lose connection.
We told the customer that we would send someone to pick up the machine and bring it back to the main shop in town centre Bolton.
When we received the machine, we tested both the charger and power socket as soon as it arrived. The charger was fine and so was the power socket. So we tested the machine with a new battery and the machine charged.
We told the customer that they would need a new battery for the machine and would they go ahead. The customer told Laptop Repair to order them a new battery and send the machine back.
We ordered the new battery and it arrived next day. As soon as we fitted the new battery we sent the machine back to the customer.
The customer was very happy with the service.
